SEPTON Honored for Zero Incidents and Process Safety Excellence
Kuraray America, Inc.'s SEPTON facility was recently recognized during the 38th Annual Industry Awards Banquet, hosted by the Texas Chemistry Council (TCC) and the Texas Chemistry Alliance (TCA).
During this year’s banquet, SEPTON was honored to receive four awards:

🏆 Dr. Mannan Award for Zero Process Safety Incidents
For the SEPTON team, safety is reflected in the way people show up for one another every day.
While each award represents an important achievement, the recognition carries a deeper meaning for the team. This year’s recognition is especially meaningful as it reflects a full year of continued focus, teamwork, and growth across the SEPTON facility. Over the past year, the team has continued to build on a strong safety foundation by remaining consistent, engaged, and committed to doing the right thing, even in the smallest details.
At SEPTON, safety is strengthened through everyday actions. It is seen when employees look out for one another, when teams pause to address concerns, and when people take ownership of the decisions that help protect coworkers, operations, and the surrounding community.
The Dr. Mannan Award for Zero Process Safety Incidents highlights SEPTON’s continued focus on process safety and reliable operations. Alongside the Caring for Texas, Zero Incident, and Distinguished Service awards, the recognition demonstrates the team’s broad commitment to safety, service, and responsible manufacturing.
