Kuraray Gives Back: 350+ Volunteer Hours Supporting the 2026 Pasadena Rodeo

For Kuraray Foundation of America, the event was about more than sponsorship. It was an opportunity to contribute time, expertise, and resources to an organization that continues to invest in the Pasadena community year-round.

PASADENA, Texas | More than 350 hours of direct support for the Pasadena community.

That commitment extended beyond volunteer hours. The Kuraray Foundation of America (KFA), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, sponsored the 77th annual Pasadena Livestock Show & Rodeo, contributing $5,000 in support of local youth programs.

Across the rodeo’s nine days, 11 Kuraray America, Inc. (KAI) employees contributed more than 350 volunteer hours to support event health, safety, and security. Drawing on their professional experience, they helped identify and address potential onsite risks, supported the medical tent, and worked behind the scenes to help create a safe, well-run experience for attendees.

Supporting Pasadena’s Next Generation
The rodeo’s impact continues long after the gates close. Funds raised help support college scholarships, livestock show awards, calf scramble programs, and other opportunities for local students and agricultural education.

KAI volunteers also supported interactive educational exhibits connecting industry, agriculture, and sustainability. These exhibits helped families explore the journey from farm to table and the role different industries play along the way.
