Kuraray America Participates in Women in Alliance Leadership Luncheon at San Jacinto College

Recently, our Kuraray America, Inc. (KAI) team joined the Women’s Leadership Luncheon hosted by the Economic Alliance Houston Port Region - Women In Alliance held at San Jacinto College.

Women in Alliance is a great group of leaders in the Houston Port Region focused on empowering women at every stage of their careers, from students just starting out to professionals continuing to grow, lead, and push for what’s next. That mission really came to life throughout the event.

The fireside chat, Defying Gravity, A Women’s Journey to the Stars, featured Sunita “Suni” Williams, former NASA astronaut and retired US Navy Captain.

That stood out  wasn’t just the scale of Suni's accomplishments, but how she talked about them: the discipline behind every decision, the trust built within teams, and the courage it takes to step into the unknown.

Growth is not about having everything figured out right away. It is built over time through new experiences, challenges, and people willing to share what they’ve learned along the way.

Grateful to KAI for bringing opportunities like this and for the chance to keep learning from leaders who are paving the way and investing in the next generation.
