Kuraray America Supports Mental Health Awareness as Platinum Sponsor of Nova Vita Fun Run 2026

At Kuraray America, Inc. (KAI), our commitment to the communities where we live and work goes beyond our operations. It extends to supporting local organizations whose work makes a meaningful difference in the local community.

This past weekend, Kuraray America joined the Houston community in Nassau Bay as a Platinum Sponsor of the 5K Fun Run presented by Nova Vita Mental Wellness, helping raise awareness and funds to support access to local mental health services.

The event brought together individuals, families, and local organizations in support of that mission. Through walking, running, and community participation, attendees contributed to the effort while experiencing the physical and mental well-being benefits of movement. Following World Mental Health Day on October 10, the Fun Run offered another opportunity to bring conversations about mental health into the community. Beyond the miles walked or run, events like this can help:

▪ Connect individuals and families with information about available mental health resources,

▪ Encourage open conversations that help reduce the stigma surrounding mental health, and

▪ Remind people that seeking support is an important step, and one that deserves understanding and encouragement.

These efforts are central to the work of Nova Vita. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit mental wellness center, Nova Vita provides licensed, professional counseling services to individuals, couples, and families navigating life's challenges. While the Fun Run brought the community together for the day, the support generated through the event will help Nova Vita continue its work beyond the finish line.
