Kuraray America Showcases Footwear Material Solutions at NW The Materials Show 2026

Kuraray America, Inc. (KAI) participated in the second edition of NW The Materials Show, held September 2–3, 2026, at the Oregon Convention Center in Portland, Oregon.
Representing Kuraray America at Booth #906, Amanda Marques Venâncio, Hoan Tran, and Yoritsugu Ito connected with attendees and showcased material solutions for footwear performance.
Visitors could see and touch shoe sole samples featuring Kuraray's Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE) solutions and learn more about their potential benefits for footwear applications, including:
- Soft touch and cushioning performance
- High resilience with reduced shrinkage
- Improved compression set and dimensional stability
The team also highlighted KURARAY LIQUID RUBBER and other material solutions to enhance outsole performance and meet different footwear requirements.
The event gave Kuraray America's Elastomers team an opportunity to engage directly with footwear industry professionals and discuss material grades and solutions for a variety of footwear applications.
