Kuraray America Showcases High-Performance Coatings Solutions at the 2026 American Coatings Show

Kuraray America, Inc. participated in the 2026 American Coatings Show (ACS), held May 5–7 at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.

During the event, members of Kuraray America’s Isoprene Chemicals Division team connected with customers, formulators, and industry professionals to showcase the company’s portfolio of high-performance ingredients and advanced material solutions for coatings and related applications.

Visitors to Booth #336 had the opportunity to engage with Shun Okura, Kenta Usami, and Will Kang and learn more about Kuraray’s technologies supporting formulation performance, flexibility, scratch resistance, transparency, softness, and hydrolysis resistance.

Featured technologies and solutions included:
• Building blocks for high-performance polyurethane (PU) resins through KURARAY POLYOL products, including polycarbonate and polyester technologies
• Specialty solvents designed to help coatings and inks formulators optimize volatility and stability while maintaining print and film quality
• Additives for modification that support formulation performance improvements without requiring major redesigns.
