EVAL Customer Service Team Volunteers with Kids' Meals to Help Fight Childhood Hunger

Kuraray America is proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work.

On June 10, members of Kuraray America, Inc.’s EVAL Customer Service team volunteered with Kids’ Meals, Inc. in Houston, Texas, supporting the organization’s mission to end childhood hunger by delivering free, healthy meals to preschool-aged children and connecting families with resources to help break the cycle of poverty.

Team members Vickie Beene, Tanya Jones, and Christine G. contributed a combined 12 hours of volunteer service, assembling approximately 1,813 snack bags for children in need throughout the Greater Houston area.

Working together through a safe, organized, and efficient assembly-line process—the Kuraray way—the four-person team achieved an outstanding result. According to the volunteer coordinator, the Kuraray team was the smallest volunteer group participating that day while assembling the highest number of snack bags during the three-hour volunteer event.

Kuraray America is proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the communities where we live and work. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with Kids’ Meals and help advance its mission of serving children and families facing food insecurity.
