Kuraray America, Inc. ESG Community Engagement Trash Bash 2025

On March 29, Kuraray America, Inc. was thrilled to sponsor and participate in the 31st Annual #TrashBash hosted by Galveston Bay Foundation! This annual event was a perfect lead-in to #EarthDay, giving our employees the chance to take meaningful action. 

The KAI team, led by Rebecca Price Rhoden, CSP, Corporate HSES Manager, was made up of 50 plus employees, their families, and friends who came together to clean up Seabrook Park and surrounding areas, making a powerful impact on the local community and environment.

KAI volunteers collaborated with other groups and removed more than 38 tons of trash and 119 tires, successfully preventing these items from entering our bayous and waterways and helping to keep local parks and trails clean and beautiful.

As a proud Silver Sponsor of the event, KAI is also submitting 84 volunteer hours to our Matching Gift Program, further amplifying the impact of our team's time and dedication.
