Polystyrene
Polystyrene, also known as poly-phenylethene, is a synthetic polymer derived from the monomer styrene. Polystyrene is widely used in packaging, disposable containers, insulation, and other applications due to its lightweight, rigid structure, and excellent thermal insulation properties. It can be formed into various shapes through processes such as extrusion, injection molding, and foam molding.
