Liquid Crystal Polymers (LCPs)
Liquid crystal polymers are a class of highly ordered, anisotropic polymers that exhibit both liquid-like flow characteristics and solid-like mechanical properties. They possess long, rod-like molecular structures with ordered arrangements akin to those found in liquid crystals, allowing them to exhibit unique properties such as high tensile strength, chemical resistance, and thermal stability.
LCPs are commonly used in high-performance applications such as electronic components, automotive parts, and aerospace materials.
