Coefficient of Thermal Expansion
Coefficient of thermal expansion describes how much a material expands or contracts when temperature changes. Matching or managing thermal expansion is important in multilayer structures, glass laminates, electronics, coatings, and molded parts to reduce stress, warping, cracking, or delamination.
