“At Kuraray, we are committed to creating a safe and collaborative workplace that encourages ideas from our global team of employees,” said Tom Tonan, Kuraray’s Director of Human Resources. “It is an honor to be recognized as a Top Workplace for 2021.”
With this year’s data driven from 70,000 organizations and 23 million employee surveys, only 600 organizations across four different size-bands were distinguished by their role in workplace excellence.
The Top Workplaces program begins its selections by capturing employee feedback within 15 company culture drivers organized into themes. Organizations’ scores within these themes are used as indicators of organizational health, which drives employee engagement and better business results. The selections come from the results of employee engagement surveys administered by Energage, a leading research firm that specializes in assisting organizations to build and brand Top Workplaces.
“As this award relies solely on employee feedback, it is a direct reflection of our innovative staff who remain dedicated to the roles they serve within Kuraray, as well as in the community,” said Tonan. “On behalf of our leadership team, I thank all Kuraray employees who positively influence our work and shape our business.”
