EARNESTON™ is high performance thermoplastic elastomer compound based on various kind of elastomers, such as SEPTON™, HYBRAR™ and KURARITY™, manufactured by Kuraray Co., Ltd. Various kinds of goods can be made with EARNESTON™ using conventional molding methods for thermoplastic resins (e.g., injection molding, extrusion and blow molding) without complicated vulcanizing process. It is possible to replace vulcanized rubber. This safe material is free from substances such as sulfur and chlorine. It is also environmentally friendly.

Excellent rubber elasticity and tensile strength

Wide range of hardness (Shore A 0 to 95)

Cold resistance (up to minus 45ºC)

Low specific gravity (same specific gravity of polypropylene, 0.9; weight can be reduced by 30% to 40% compared with vulcanized rubber)

Excellent resistance to heat deterioration, weatherability and ozone resistance

Can be processed by conventional plastic processing methods such as injection molding and extrusion molding
