Man-made leather
Items made from amaretta™, Tirrenina™ and Clarino™ Suede man-made leather collections are used in a wide range of applications, for example, in clothing, accessories, bags, shoes, sports equipment, and in the high-tech and electronics industries.
Our high-end production methods allow consistently superior quality, without fabric losses in the cutting room. Thanks to its fine structure, this man-made leather can be finished using traditional tanning methods. Clarino™ man-made leather is a lightweight and exceptionally durable material.
Using a variety of processing techniques it is possible to create a wide range of surface structures. For example, articles made of Clarino™ can be stamped, perforated, embossed, printed and laminated. They can also be dyed in almost any color. Clarino™ grades are produced without fluorinated hydrocarbons.
As a first step towards a more sustainable future, some Clarino™ man-made leathers are already available with a recycled fiber content of up to 100%.
