We are Kuraray

We are a company with Japanese roots specializing in high-performance materials and speciality chemicals. We produce innovative plastics and microfibres that are used in many sectors. 

We have had a presence in Europe since 1965, for example, in Hattersheim, Frankfurt and Troisdorf in Germany and at various other locations throughout Europe. About 1,000 colleagues work on our central objective: developing new technologies that protect the environment and make people’s lives better. We want to achieve what no one else can – for people and the planet.
