Hermetic storage in hermetic bags containing a layer of EVAL™ EVOH is a method of storing and transporting agricultural commodities (grains, pulses, beans, rice, etc,.). The hermetically sealed bags prevent the movement of air (oxygen) and moisture between the atmosphere and the commodity. This allows (1) insect control without harmful chemicals, and (2) preservation of the original moist content (mc) of agricultural commodities.
