PVA film is used as a base film for polarizing plates, which are essential for LCD displays, and we expect further market growth, such as displays for large flat-screen TVs, monitors, personal computers and mobile phones. Kuraray’s PVA film has been used in this application almost exclusively for more than 30 years. Our lineup also includes packaging film for clothing, which offers transparency, and water-soluble films used for industrial applications.
