Notice Concerning Change of Audit Firm
Kuraray Co., Ltd. today announces that it has changed its audit firm. Details are described as follows.
1. Reason for the Change
On May 10, 2006, Kuraray's accounting auditor, ChuoAoyama PricewaterhouseCoopers, was ordered by the Financial Services Agency to suspend business operations for two months, from July 1, 2006 to August 31, 2006. Accordingly, ChuoAoyama PricewaterhouseCoopers is disqualified as Kuraray's accounting auditor.
