Overview
Kuraray began production of activated carbon fiber (ACF) in 1980, and commercialized electric double layer capacitors that use ACF fabrics in the 1980s. Since then, we have commercialized fine powder activated carbon (flagship grade: YP) in response to the diversification of needs for electric double layer capacitors. In addition, we supply products to meet various other needs, including products for electrodes, water purification and deodorization.
