Overview
PVA fiber (polyvinyl alcohol fiber) is the first domestically produced synthetic fiber in Japan, industrialized by Kuraray in 1950—the first such achievement in the world. It has high fiber strength, excellent weather and chemical resistance, and is widely used in industrial fields.
To meet a wide range of application needs, we offer a diverse lineup of products, including KURALON™ PVA fiber, KURALON K-II™ water-soluble PVA fiber, VINARL™ flame-retardant PVA fiber, and spun yarn.
