KURARAY CO., LTD. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Hitoshi Kawahara) held a management briefing for institutional investors and analysts.
In the first part, we explained the investigation results regarding the fire incident that occurred at the U.S. EVAL plant in 2018 and our efforts to prevent recurrence. Based on our safety-related guiding principle of “Safety is the Cornerstone of Everything We Do,” the Kuraray Group will once again strengthen its safety initiatives and aim to become a company that never causes incidents.
In the second part, we introduced our dental materials business, which continues to grow globally, centered on our subsidiary Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc. We explained trends in dental materials, our wide range of organic and inorganic products and their strengths, and our efforts in product development.
