Kuraray India Private Limited (Headquarters: New Delhi, India; President: Akihiro Hoashi) will exhibit at PLASTINDIA 2023, which will be held this year from February 1 in New Delhi, India. This will be the company’s fourth time at the exhibition, one of India’s biggest plastic exhibitions. The company will introduce the Kuraray Group’s high-performance materials, which have applications in a wide range of fields, including food, industry, and agriculture.
Kuraray was the first in the world to commercialize Polyvinyl Alcohol resin. KURARAY POVAL™ and ELVANOL™ have such characteristics as water solubility, film formability, adhesiveness, emulsifiability, oil resistance, and chemical resistance, and they can be used in a wide variety of applications, including as paper additives, adhesives, and compound stabilizers for polyvinyl chloride resins.
This ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymer (EVOH) has a gas barrier function superior to that of all other plastics. In addition to being used for packaging pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, agricultural products, industrial products, and, especially, food, EVOH is used for automotive fuel tanks, floor heating pipes, and vacuum insultation panels for refrigerators.
The hydrogenated styrene thermoplastic elastomer SEPTON™ and HYBRAR™ were developed using Kuraray’s accumulated proprietary technologies. They are used as rubber substitutes and plastic modifiers.
GENESTAR™ is one of Kuraray’s proprietary heat-resistant polyamide resins. It has excellent features, such as low water absorption, high heat resistance, high chemical resistance, superior sliding properties, and dimensional precision. It is increasingly used in electrical, electronic, and automotive components.
Our lineup of hoses includes five types optimal for agricultural use. Each product is easy to handle with smooth internal and external surfaces, excellent high pressure resistance, and high flexibility. You can choose the hose that is optimal for your applications.
This pellet-shaped additive was created using oil compounding technology to incorporate high ratios of up to 30% of various functional oils in mainly thermoplastic resins, such as polyolefins. This can be used in textiles, films, sheet, various forms and more.
The company will showcase EXCEVAL™, the SEPTON™ BIO-series, Liquid Farnesene Rubber (L-FR), KURARITY™, ISOBAM™, and more.
