Kuraray Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Masaaki Ito; hereinafter “Kuraray” or “the Company”) hereby announces that it has been selected as a naming rights partner for Zao Ski Jump, which is owned by Yamagata City.

Kuraray has been supporting the activities of the female ski jumper Sara Takanashi since it began sponsoring her in 2013. Ms. Takanashi has often used Zao Ski Jump for practice and has participated in several competitions hosted there. This facility is particularly important to her because it is where she had her first career championship win, which was in one of the FIS Ski Jumping World Cup 2012 competitions.

As a naming rights partner for Zao Ski Jump, Kuraray will help domestic and overseas ski jumpers, including Ms. Takanashi, develop their skills by enhancing the environments of this ski jumping facility.
