The September/October 2006 issue of JALSHOP, the in-flight catalog published for the JAL Group by JALUX Inc., will offer the Migaru Bag SABRINA (Migaru is a Japanese term that combines attractive beauty with lightweight convenience). Priced at ¥30,450 including tax, SABRINA is a bag for women made from Kuraray's high-grade man-made leather PARCASSIO. Migaru Bag SABRINA will be introduced in the catalog by the world-renowned violinist Mariko Senju. Approximately 1.2 million copies of each issue of the JAPSHOP catalog are printed, and placed in the seat pockets of JAL airliners.
A key material in the manufacture of the Migaru Bag SABRINA is Kuraray's high-grade man-made leather PARCASSIO. PARCASSIO, to which a natural leather finish has been applied, combines the sense of quality found in natural leather with the lightweight and easy-to-care-for properties of man-made leather.
In addition to everyday use, the Migaru Bag SABRINA caters to the traveler and businesswoman. Designed with convenience in mind, SABRINA comfortably holds A4 size documents and a 500ml plastic bottle. Its functional design includes several pockets including pockets with zip fastener, magnet, an open pocket and pocket for a mobile phone.
Kuraray has also sold Bikyaku Pumps in collaboration with Calzeria Hosono through the JALSHOP catalog since June 2004.
Bikyaku Pumps combine the renowned fashion sense of Calzeria Hosono with Kuraray's man-made leather PARCASSIO to provide a stable and comfortable fit.
