On April 20, 2006, Shinei Rubber Goods Mfg. Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Sumida-ku, Tokyo) will introduce the Strolling Supersaurus, a new addition to S.A.G. Balloon Products' Strolling Balloon Series. The Strolling Supersaurus uses a long-life, high-tech balloon from Kuraray Trading Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Osaka), which has the durability and buoyancy required to take it along on a stroll.
The Strolling Balloon Series includes dogs such as the Shiba Puppy and Corgi Puppy, a duck, and a star tortoise.
The Supersaurus, one of the biggest dinosaurs, was chosen for the Strolling Balloon series because its large size can be printed and manufactured in Japan. The finely tuned ability to replicate form and the use of printing techniques faithfully reproduces the immense size as well as the gentleness of the herbivorous dinosaur Supersaurus. This item is ideal for presents at all kinds of parties, birthdays, fairs, and other events and as an expressive ornament.
Dinosaurs have always been a craze among children of all ages, but The Gigantic Dinosaur Expo 2006 is being held this summer at Makuhari Messe (Mihama-ku, Chiba-pref) so an unprecedented upsurge in the dinosaur boom is anticipated.
Kuraray Co., Ltd. developed the long-life, high-tech balloon using a special film made from EVAL, a gas-impermeable material with broad applications in food packaging.
As Kuraray's long-life, high-tech balloons are impermeable even to tiny helium gas atoms, these balloons retain their buoyancy for approximately one week.
