Dental materials

Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc. seeks to integrate the remaining dental structure so that it closely matches the substance and aesthetics of natural teeth through restorative materials and dental adhesives. Metal crowns and inlays are the primary dental filling materials that we use. However, demand for natural restoration closely matching natural teeth (as pictured on the right) has increased in recent years. Based on its polymer technology, Kuraray Noritake Dental Inc. develops resin-based dental materials that are similar to the color of natural teeth as well as dental adhesives and cement that bond to the dental structure. In addition, to respond to the natural wish for beautiful smile, using a polymer composite containing a high concentration of inorganic ingredients, Kuraray Noritake Dental developed aesthetic restorative dental materials for crowns that combine the strength to withstand the bite pressure of the molar region and the aesthetics of natural teeth.

The dental materials business was founded in 1978 and offers a lineup of over 30 products to customers throughout the world. The highly adhesive dental structures and physical properties of its dental materials, achieved with new technology, have built for the Company broad customer trust.
